I've been using this bag for 7 months to commute in Calgary year round and do a lot of my errands by bike. I've come to accept there is no perfect backpack as each design makes concessions. However this one is as close to perfect I think.

The bag has enough storage for a change of clothes, lunch, laptop, miscellaneous work items, u-lock, thermos and emergency bike items. I drop my daughter off at daycare and I can sometimes fit her bag in my mine depending on the day. If not, the M.A.S. can be used to attach her backpack to the outside.

I've always liked backpacks with daisy chains to be able to attach large items outside of the bag with carabiners or rope. The M.A.S. attachment points do essentially the same function. I've attached my daughters helmet, her backpack, 14" balance bike and grocery bags. It works great.

The internal organization is good and allows easy access. Pulling keys out, snacks or gloves are common items I can dig out quickly.

Being a top loading backpack with a lot of the storage being on the bags outside flap and at the top, the bag flops over when it's empty or close to it. I wouldn't say it's a negative as I've had backpacks with no storage on the top flap and found myself wanting more. As having a storage pocket at the bottom of the bag has more limitations I think.

Overall, this has been the best commuting bag I've used and don't have any wandering eye to switch things up or try something new. Well made and well design backpack.

This is a great bag. Holds a lot of stuff without being too bulky on your handle bar.

Really happy with this purchase. I really like the included rain poncho and the bright orange interior makes it easy to find my stuff. The size is perfect for my commute. I can fit my shoes, change of clothes and lunch without too much difficulty. Thanks!

This bag is perfect for those who are looking for a business-like pannier bag that can be used for commuting. It is well thought out and the quality is good. From now on, I will try to see how strong the rain can withstand. I'm going to use it carefully.

Perfect replacement

It took some fine-tuning but this is more than a bag,it's a valet service. Easy to pack (now that I have my system in place) and easy to access at the office. Suits arrive unwrinkled. The design, with internal laptop pocket and accessory external pocket hanging on the low end means smart easy access to work essentials at the office. I wish the rain cover could be used without unclipping the storage bag. Hanging the bag on a deluxe rack (with rails for both panniers and a trunk) can be a challenge (kinda wish I had a standard rack) but it works. Loving the bag more with each use. It's a game changer for a challenging office commute.

I like these mounting kits, easy on and off for the bags

I keep forgetting to buckle the straps when it is a oannier so they broke off. The backpack was good enough, though, i bought it again.

I really like this bag. I’m 4’11 and it’s not too big or too heavy to wear. I can fit my 16 inch MacBook in the laptop compartment. Converting it between a backpack and pannier is not too complicated.

This is a really good quality item. It holds an impressive amount and the fabric and zips feel strong and hard-wearing. The rack fastening system works very well.
It's an expensive product but feels like it will last for years.

I picked this up a year or so ago when my husband's mounting set gave out on his Two Wheel backpack. It was super easy to replace. It gave me the idea to replace the mounting kits on other panniers we have from different companies because the mountings they came with were inferior but the panniers are awesome. It worked a treat and has extended the life of my favourite panniers.

The bag fits easily and securely to my rack and is perfect for carrying around. I regularly use both of the handles.

Had it out on one trip. Holds more than you think. Stays pretty flat so that your knees don’t rub much. Room for small bottles, however, it makes them difficult to get out.

I pre-ordered this almost the instant I discovered such a product existed! I was keen to move away from my Thule Shield pannier due to the shoulder strap not doing good things to my back.

This backpack is very well made with clearly a lot of thought put into the design. It’s very spacious, with a large laptop pocket and nice inside and outside pockets for various things. Bottle pockets on both sides is a nice touch too. High quality waterproof zips are great.

A few observations to maybe be aware of if you’re considering purchasing (these are probably not unique to this type of bag):

* With the back folded around and mounted on your bike, it sticks out perhaps more than most bags might. For me it was more than I expected so be careful going through doorways!
* You can’t feel the mounting hardware at all when wearing the backpack which is great. Beware that this hardware isn’t removable, which is probably a good thing as it likely improves the long term reliability.
* I think my pannier rack is quite standard, but the bag sits slightly further forward than I would like. On a couple of occasions my foot hit the bag when riding. Beware of this if you have a bottle in the side pocket.
* The bag also sits lower than my Thule and rests against my rear derailleur, so I mounted it to the opposite side. Again, this might be fairly typical but was noteworthy to me.
* The mounting system is great, much better than my Thule, where I was nervous about them unlatching. No such concerns with this backpack!

The customer service was great. I had a bag strap and buckle break and they replaced the bag right away. The overall quality is really well made and the design is thought out. I am happy with my purchase.
