I’ve cycled through a number of panniers over the years and this one does both backpack and pannier better than any that have come before. Stays securely on the rack and fits comfortably on my back. There is a very small amount of assembly/disassembly involved when transitioning between the two, but it’s completely worth it and it becomes more automatic after repeated use. This is a perfect commuter bag — it has a relatively slim profile that I appreciate when I’m off the bike, yet there is enough quality hardware to solidly attach it to bike.

I purchased this bag to go on a European self guided bike tour. I wanted a panier that Icould also use as backpack when we are stopping off at various places. I have yet to use it in the wild, but it seems perfect. I have the LITE model and iti is ok for me as a long torso 5'5" person. The larger one I tried on from a friend and it was way too big for me in backpack mode.

Had an issue with the bag popping off my rack but customer service replaced it under warranty and is supplying an additional strap as extra security. Clever bag design that is really convenient for commuting to work and avoiding a sweaty shirt.

Great backpack pannier combo. I just needed it for work so the smaller size is perfect. It clips onto my bike well. I ride with a fair amount of bumps and haven't had any issues with it falling off. It converts quickly. I've seen people complain about the stiffness of the zippers, but after just a couple uses, it seems fine. Fits my laptop, mouse, notepad, pens, hat, u-lock, bungee cords, chargers, and a small jacket with room to spare. It's not the comfiest backpack I've ever used, but it does the job. I was concerned I would feel the hooks in my back, but that doesn't happen as they are not positioned in a way that touches me. I'm 5'8" and this backpack seems like a good fit. I have an owala standard size water bottle and the side pocket is quite tight. It hasn't ripped, but I have some concern that it might because I have to really stretch it to get the bottle to fit.

I do wish the laptop had a separate zipper pocket. It can be mildly annoying to pull out of the main pocket. I think the bigger size does have that, so seems strange to not have one here, but it's not that big of a deal.

Since the back of the bag is also the part that touches your back when its converted, be aware that it can get dirty when riding. Mine usually has some dust on it and also gets dirt in the straps pocket, so I have to brush it off a bit before using it as a backpack.

Overall, I really like it so far. Been using it for a few weeks and haven't had any real issues. It's pricey, but there aren't many other options that I thought seemed worth it, so I'm happy with the purchase.

It is great! Does what it’s supposed to do, and does it well. No complaints!
