Packtasche Laptop Messenger (20 L)

I really like this bag. I like the side and the internal pocket arrangement a lot, as well as the included rain cover.

Unfortunately, the bag is really held back by the low-quality strap in my opinion. I use the shoulder strap a ton to move around during the day, and the strap has really minimal padding. Worse still, the clips that connect the strap to the bag are made from a type of plastic that creaks a ton when walking with the bag, and it sounds really unprofessional to be walking around with a bag that creaks with every step. The plastic also flakes off (I noticed it sticking to my water bottle in the side pocket). I like the bag, and will continue to use it on my bike as I can, but I'm probably going to have to replace it with a different messenger style bag for work.

It’s seldom that I buy something where I feel like I got more than I paid for. I love this bag. It is so well designed and packed with some really thoughtful details. The mounting system is the best I’ve come across. There are plenty of compartments with lots of room for for extra clothing, tools, office supplies, etc. The laptop pocket is secure and well padded. The zippers are sturdy and the zipper pulls are a nice touch. And the rain cover has come in handy several times. The zippers were a little stiff at first, especially at the corners of the bag. However, after using them a few times they began working smoothly. I guess they just needed a little break in (or the chamois cream I put on them might of helped). This case is definitely the best piece of commuter cycling kit I’ve bought.

The pannier is has multiple compartments. It can carry my 17 inch laptop no problem and has enough padding around the laptop to keep it protected. The quick latching mechanism attaches securely to the rear rack and keeps the bag at an angle, which prevents heal strikes. I would recommend this bag to anybody who has to commute with a laptop.

One of the best things I have bought - and exactly what I was after. Works magnificently as a laptop bag and is also a premium pannier. Three YKK zips are a bonus. I like that I can seamlessly remove from the bike, zip up the attaching mechanism and be on my way. Perfect.
