- Mounting hooks work with Ø 6-16 mm bike racks (bar thickness)
- Press the top button to slide/adjust hooks horizontally across rail
- Adjustable max pannier hook width: 6.5 inches (16.5 cm)

- Red spring latch securely locks pannier down to the carrier

- The Kompakt Rail hooks are shorter so they reduce the problem of the hook making contact with an E-bike where the battery is integrated into the carrier
For every rail-bike mounting system like these I own, before first use, I put on them a layer (1mm -2mm) of eva foam. This protects the thing, avoids impacts, etc... It'd be great if it came with this shock-absorption system right from the box

Went to dry fit on the bike and the lock clip broke when it released for the first time. Hopefully there is some warranty on these.

This is a second replacement part as the red part has broken twice in regular use. One of the pieces received was incomplete, but I was able to use part of the previous replacement to screw the clip in anyways. (I didn't contact the company as I had the part on the same table.)
It is really a simple swap, which is great. Repairability is really important and I appreciate that. I wish the system was a bit more robust. Otherwise it's a great bag and I've convinced some friends and coworkers to also buy it. Hopefully there'll be a better, more robust, clip system on a future model when the time comes to replace the current bag.
